FileMaker Training Specialist

We are looking to hire a FileMaker Training Specialist with strong coaching skills and a desire to mentor and grow those around them in the FileMaker landscape.

Responsibilities

Own company FileMaker training and onboarding programs for new employees
Assist in the development of teammates’ skills through means such as peer programming and retraining
Educate new staff on KPI’s and other metrics, setting performance expectations from Day 1
Act as newly hired employee’s initial point of contact for technical questions
Lead FileMaker bootcamps and additional educational programs for staff
Regularly update company documentation centers ensuring accuracy and relevance of the included information
Partner with talent acquisition parties to conduct technical interviews and select qualified candidates
Collaborate with leadership on current and upcoming company initiatives ensuring a successful implementation
Review other developer’s code to make certain that coding standards are achieved, coaching developer's with code that might fall below standards
Lend a helping hand to all teams as needed

Qualifications

3 years of FileMaker development experience
3 years of leadership experience preferred
Experience in a training role highly desired
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Patience with coworkers as they learn the ropes
Ability to pivot between tasks
Proven ability to expertly document processes and procedures
Creative and positive attitude
Ability to work from corporate office in Indianapolis as needed
