New Horizon Treatment Center Gets Connected with FileMaker Pro
New Horizons came to us initially only needing an upgrade from the unsupported FileMaker 6 to the latest version of FileMaker. As the iterative project unfolded, we performed a file consolidation, added user login security, connected their offices over a WAN, smoothed out the wrinkles in their workflow, and re-designed the user interface. The end result is a system that performs better than ever.
The Challenge
Using an unsupported version of FileMaker Pro, their IT consultant looked to partner with a FileMaker expert to upgrade the system and network their different office locations to a single database. They wanted this done to reduce the time it took to perform typical daily tasks.
The Solution
DB Services connected the offices securely over a WAN and rolled out a new system that purged legacy items, enhanced existing features such as reports, and provided a stunningly easy-to-use interface.

The new interface has reduced the time it takes to do typical tasks, the security layers lend peace of mind that records are properly safeguarded, and the new reports make important data easier to find. All of these features hum along on the latest version of FileMaker, a big improvement over their original FileMaker 6 system.
